Recently, President Trump announced his plans to deal with the growing number of migrants bombarding our Southern border. Running out of room to detain most of them, he said he would transport them to Sanctuary cities while awaiting their trials. A well-known Trump critic and celebrity came out immediately to criticize the plan, reveal what she (and the rest of the party) truly believe about migrants.
The trouble at our border is beyond out of control. It’s getting so bad, even liberal news outlets are admitting now it’s a crisis. Thousands of migrants are crossing Mexico to reach our border. Many of them are demanding asylum in the United States (even though they are not qualified). Those that do this are forced to wait in Mexico for their cases to be reviewed.
Many have decided not to wait. They are trying to cross the border, our immigration laws be damned. These thousands are quickly apprehended. Instead of being immediately deported, our broken laws require that they are allowed to stay in the U.S. to await a trial. Many flee, never to appear in court.
Our government is running out of places to detain these “border jumpers.” So, President Trump had a brilliant plan. Stick them in liberal-run sanctuary cities across the country, until they can appear before a judge.
Sounds like a plan to me! Democrats have all but rolled out the red carpet for illegal immigrants by creating sanctuaries for them. They clearly want more of them in cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and so on. Why not let these migrants stay there—numbering in the tens of thousands—before their trials?
As you can imagine, Democrats have freaked out. Suddenly, they’re against shipping thousands of newcomers to their cities. Despite what they’ve said time and again, they claim they need to focus on the needs of American citizens first.
I kid you not.
In fact, one of the loudest critics of Trump (and supporter of illegal immigrants) has posted a ridiculous response to Trump’s plan. She has proven what a pathetic hypocrite she is.
Cher took to Twitter on Sunday to point out that Los Angeles, a city with about 50,000 homeless, is ill-equipped to deal with a large influx of illegal immigrants, much less its own residents.
“I Understand Helping struggling Immigrants, but MY CITY (Los Angeles) ISNT TAKING CARE OF ITS OWN.WHAT ABOUT THE 50,000+Citizens WHO LIVE ON THE STREETS.PPL WHO LIVE BELOW POVERTY LINE,& HUNGRY? If My State Can’t Take Care of Its Own(Many Are VETS)How Can it Take Care Of More,” Cher wrote late Sunday afternoon. [Source: Fox News]
Now, Cher’s response might sound familiar, because IT’S WHAT WE’VE BEEN SAYING FOR YEARS.
Conservatives have been shocked to see Democrats supporting illegals, when so many Americans are in need. Sanctuary cities and states are the perfect example of liberals ignoring the needs of Americans and homeless, in order to help outsiders.
But now, after Trump suggests a reasonable (and temporary) solution to the crisis, suddenly liberals are more concerned with Americans? Give me a break.
It’s, as if, Democrats only want to do the opposite of what Trump says!
Most patriots are sickened by the fact that Democrats support (and spend millions) helping illegals, when so many Americans are left in the lurch. There are countless Americans that struggle with addiction, homelessness, poverty, and a lack of education. But Democrats would rather spend insane amounts of money relocating illegals, giving them jobs, food, clothing, and education.
It’s this kind of hypocrisy that has driven so many Americans to support Donald Trump—the one man putting Americans first.
Other Democrats have had similar reactions to Cher. I guess they though Texas and other border states would absorb the tens of thousands of migrants jumping the border. They wouldn’t have to deal with this crisis, far away in the North. That’s how rich elite Democrats think.
They make huge demands on America, expecting others to take the burden for them. I don’t see Cher doing anything to help that 50,000+ in Los Angeles in need. Is she opening up her home, donating to a soup kitchen, clothing homeless?
Of course not.
So why should we care what she or any of her buddies think?
