Hillary Clinton has not announced yet another run to try to get into the White House, but the bogus speech she gave in Houston has many people thinking otherwise as it certainly sounding as if she was getting ready to hit the campaign trail again. Clinton’s speech, filled with trigger words to pander to her below average IQ following on the left, took aim at President Donald Trump.
Hillary claimed President Trump’s tweeting of a video of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi which showed her slurring her words during an interview, because he was…” running scared.” At this point, the Dems. repetitiveness is just becoming tiresome, as their script writers seem to be stuck pulling phrases from the same kiddy pool. “Just look at what’s happened in the last 24 hours,” she said. “The president and his cronies have been running around spreading a doctored video of Nancy Pelosi. Now, it is sexist trash. But it is also a sign that Trump is running scared,” the failed presidential candidate said at a gathering of the Harris County Democratic Party.
Her speech seemed intended to motivate Houston-area Democrats to get out the vote for the party’s candidates in 2020, while simultaneously trying to hypnotize them out of any potential doubt they may have about the disheveled party. “We have to remind Americans we are the party that can deliver for them,” Clinton said. “But we also are the party that will stand up and protect the Constitution and address what is a very real constitutional crisis that this president has put us in.”
Earlier this month, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., declared the U.S. was in a “constitutional crisis,” after Attorney General William Barr declined to testify before his panel after being subpoenaed. Nadler claimed the Trump administration was “stonewalling” efforts by congressional Democrats to continue probes into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, even though Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on the investigation he led for two years proved no evidence of collusion existed. Pelosi claimed she agreed with him that the nation was in a constitutional crisis the day after Nadler spoke.
President Trump, meanwhile, has insisted that the senseless ongoing Russia investigations should no longer continue after Mueller’s findings proved there was no collusion. He also pointed out that the Democrat’s continued dwelling on Russia is manufactured to persuade voters in 2020 and was evidence that the party had not yet recovered from Trump’s 2016 victory over Clinton.
Some have reason to believe Clinton could make a third bid for the presidency in 2020. If none of the more than 20 Democrats currently in the running emerges as a clear threat to deny Trump a second term, her potential for a bid could rise even higher. The polls show Biden currently in the lead for the Democratic primary – which speaks to the state of their party, as Biden has been in the media for his questionable touching of women and girls along with his son’s shady business practices affecting Joe’s motives when dealing with foreign nations. Wavering confidence in Biden and an already rock bottom confidence in the rest of the candidates could propel Clinton into running again.
Clinton made headlines in March when she told a New York-area news station that she would not seek the presidency in 2020. “Aw-shucks,” President Trump responded in a Twitter message, “does that mean I won’t get to run against her again? She will be sorely missed!” But just a day later, “someone close to Clinton” told the New York Times that Clinton didn’t intend for her comments to “close the door on running. ”She has told her team she is waiting at least to see the Mueller report,” the Times reported, citing the same source.
Many feel however, that Clinton has already missed out on her shot at the presidency. After an election that was hers to lose in 2016, the Clintons have fallen off of the political pyramid as they struggle to stay relevant. A joint speaking tour saw the couple offering tickets at prices so low they were practically giving them away. That, paired with the fact hat America has gotten a taste of what great things Donald Trump can do as president, leaves Hillary with no chance at 2020.
