NEW: Elizabeth Warren In Virtual Tie With Joe Biden In Latest Poll

Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren is on the rise as a new poll has her in a virtual tie with Democratic front-runner Joe Biden.

The Washington Examiner reports Warren remains just one point behind Biden according to an Economist-YouGov poll conducted from Aug. 10-13.

The one point, with Biden taking 21 percent of the vote and Warren taking 20 percent, puts her well within the 2.6 percent margin of error for the poll.

The Washington Examiner reports Bernie Sanders took third in the national poll but rose to first among just New Hampshire voters:

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders came in third, clocking in at 16% support among voters. No other candidate polled in the double digits, with Sen. Kamala Harris of California registering 8%. New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker and South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg both received 5% support in the poll.

Other candidates have seen a bit of rise since the last round of Democratic debates and recent gaffes by Biden. A poll released Tuesday found that in the key primary state of New Hampshire, Sanders leads the 76-year-old former vice president 21% to 15%.

The Economist-YouGov poll varies from the findings in a recent RealClearPolitics poll which has Biden comfortably in the lead with just over 30 percent (30.3). Warren is second place with 18.5 percent and Sanders follows close in third with 17.5 percent.

The next Democratic presidential debates will be held in Houston on September 12 and 13.
