In the wake of the virus panic, we’ve seen very little campaigning. Major events and appearances have been canceled as President Trump led the country to battle an outbreak… and Joe Biden huddled in his basement. Now, CNN has released a poll revealing the candidates’ standings in battleground states. Let’s just say it wasn’t what anyone was expecting.
You know it has to be a big deal for us to be reporting on a CNN poll. Let’s not forget 2016, when just about every major poll claimed Donald Trump was going to lose to Hillary Clinton—by a big margin. Why were they so wrong? Because most polls are conducted by liberal media outlets and they have ways of manipulating the data to get a desired outcome.
One of the ways is to oversample certain groups. Another is to word questions very vaguely, so the pollsters can interpret them any way they like. And we’re talking about CNN here, so we can expect this utterly biased network to twist their polls to hurt the president as much as they can.
So, how do they explain this shocking new poll?
Much to CNN’s chagrin, their own new poll shows President Trump leading former Vice President Joe Biden in 15 battleground states, 52%-45%. Those states include Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin. Seven of those states voted for Trump in 2016: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Eight voted for Clinton: Colorado, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, and Virginia. [Source: Daily Wire]
That’s right. A CNN poll has Trump beating Biden by a huge margin. This is so significant, because they polled 15 “battleground” states they were hoping would swing in Biden’s favor. And it includes eight states Trump didn’t win last time around.
We can assume this poll wasn’t spared from CNN’s manipulation, so Trump’s edge might be much higher.
Obviously, CNN is trying to explain this away. They claim it’s only due to younger voters who are increasingly losing interest in Biden. They say this, because young voters are far less likely to vote than older voters. CNN is hoping to downplay their own poll, so Americans think the group giving Trump the bump won’t show up on Election Day.
But the real edge in this poll comes from independent voters. A majority favored Trump over Biden. That excludes age differences and all the rest.
You might be wondering how a totally biased network like CNN would end up with a poll like this. Well, it probably has something to do with how America is watching Biden continue to deteriorate at an alarming speed. Every TV appearance he seems more confused and aged. It looks like his mind is falling apart by the minute.
Add to that the Tara Reade scandal. Americans watched as Democrats who claimed to believe all women suddenly refused to believe Reade. Then, there is the recent revelations of Biden’s involvement in the Michael Flynn scheme.
Outside of Trump-hating, entrenched Democrats, why would anyone vote for Biden? The president made good on every last promise of his campaign. He proved he was going to put Americans first, by putting Americans first. Even during this unprecedented crisis, he hasn’t stopped fighting for Americans, first by protecting our health, and then by working to reopen the economy.
During all this chaos, what has Biden done? Sat back in his comfortable home, taking potshots at the administration. So, nothing. Biden has shown zero leadership during this crisis. He’s offered no solutions or guidance. And not even a shred of hope.
And yet he expects us to vote for him?
Perhaps those polls number are much higher for Trump than CNN would like to admit?
