Democrats Do Their Best To Scrub Trump From DC – But It Won’t Work

We’re seeing the true colors of Democrats come out, in the aftermath of the 2020 Election. They don’t seem very happy that their candidate is entering the White House. There is little of the celebration or joy seen back in 2008 or 2012, when Obama was elected. In fact, Democrats seem more bitter than ever before.

In recent weeks, they’ve tried to suppress the views of anyone that disagrees with them. The media fought to ignore anything that contradicted their narrative of the election. And even this month, when Trump announced he’d be leaving office peacefully, Democrats have fought to kick him out by impeachment or the 25th Amendment.

Democrats have a majority in the House and a 50/50 split in the Senate. With Kamala Harris as vice president, they have a slim advantage in Congress. So, why are they still so miserable?

We can’t say for certain, except that TDS doesn’t go away so easily. In fact, some lawmakers want to prevent Trump’s memory from ever remaining in the D.C. swamp.

House Representatives Linda T. Sánchez (D-CA) and Joaquin Castro (D-TX) are working to ensure that President Donald Trump is never memorialized in any official manner.

“I am working on a bill that would mean that nothing — not even a bench, no airport, no highway, no school, nothing — ever bear the name of this traitor,” California congresswoman Linda Sánchez told People magazine on Monday…

Beyond labeling Trump a “traitor,” Sánchez also implied he was guilty of sedition: “I don’t think that he deserves any of the benefits that are conferred on prior presidents,” she said. “I don’t believe that a seditious occupant of the White House should have ever have anything named after him.” [Source: Breitbart]

These Democrats claim they want to do this to “punish” Trump for the events of January 6. Yeah, okay, we’re believing that. As if these people hadn’t hated Trump from the moment he announced his presidential run in 2015.

Democrats called themselves the “resistance” during his first two years in office. They organized protests at every turn. They attacked Trump’s family and supporters—calling them racists and bigots. They impeached him 2019 over a phone call.

But we’re supposed to believe that these lawmakers are pushing this bitter, meaningless bill because it’s the “right” thing to do?

This is nothing more than bitter children throwing yet another temper tantrum. In fact, the harder they push for this kind of move, the more likely Trump’s name will pop up all over the place. Conservative states will be naming schools, buildings, and roads after the president. Private citizens will go out of their way to name property after Donald Trump.

Democrats seem to underestimate the devotion Americans feel for the president. Only hardcore leftists from the East and West coast hate him this much. The rest of the country benefitted from his leadership and would be more than happy to honor him with a memorial.

In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them popping up in the near future.
