Biden Starts Sweating as Federal Investigators Move In

One of the first things Joe Biden did when he entered office was suspend the construction of Trump’s border wall. Trump had managed to build hundreds of miles of his promised wall, but there were many more miles scheduled to be built. Among the many changes Biden made to our border policy, perhaps the stupidest was stopping the border wall project.

Soon after, our border was flooded with thousands of migrants. The situation has turned into a major crisis, even as Biden ignores what is going on. Plenty of Republicans in Congress are not happy with what Biden did. And, as it turns out, he may have broken the law when he reversed this project. So, one agency is investigating him.

Democrat President Joe Biden is reportedly “under investigation” for halting billions of dollars in payments that were set to go out to companies that were tasked with finishing President Donald Trump’s southern border wall.

“Now the Government Accountability Office is launching a review to determine whether the new president broke the law by freezing the money in violation of budget rules designed to keep Congress in control of the cash flow,” Politico reported. “The probe highlights the challenge presidents have historically faced in fulfilling campaign promises that require money to be spent — or suspended — at odds with Congress’ intent.” …

Wow. Only two months into the job and Biden is already under investigation. That must be a record. The GAO is looking into whether Biden violated the law when he disrupted budget rules that give Congress control. We wouldn’t be surprised if he did. After all, Joe Biden has rarely tried to cooperate with Congress on nearly anything.

Many of his decisions have sought to ignore or circumvent Congress to force his agenda. He signed a mountain of executive orders in his first few weeks, all aimed at pushing his radical goals, without support from Congress.

Should the GAO find that Joe Biden broke the law—what happens then? It’s uncertain what consequences Biden could face under those circumstances, but it might prove good for the future of the border wall. States can sue the administration, using this investigation to build their case. The courts can rule that Biden overstepped his authority when he canceled the border wall—and the building might resume.

Regardless, it’s clear something needs to be done about the border. The crisis gets worse with each passing day, as Biden’s administration does nothing to enforce our immigration laws and deter illegal entry. If Congress really cared, they’d step in and do what they could to protect Americans.

You want to know what else is clear? Something needs to be done about the idiot in the White House.
