Wow, what a difference an administration makes, huh? Not that long ago, it looked like the Middle East was about to embark on a new era of peace and prosperity. Several notable Arab nations were signing agreements with Israel that normalized relations and opened up economic opportunities. It looked like the Jewish state was gaining allies by the day, as former enemies wanted to do business with them.
Now, things couldn’t be worse. As Israel, like the rest of the world, comes out of its pandemic lockdowns, Palestinian forces began firing rockets at them. Hundreds of rockets have pummeled the nation in just this week, the aggression starting on a day of celebrating called Jerusalem Day. Reports indicate Hama—the Palestinian terrorist network—is targeting half a million Israeli residents.
As Israel scrambles to defend its people and retaliate, the world watches on. Nations are either unable or unwilling to intervene on this sudden and unprovoked attack. But the question we should be asking is: where is the United States. Why haven’t we—Israel’s biggest and closest ally—done anything to stop this?
Now, President Trump is pointing the finger on who’s really to blame.
Trump slammed the sitting president in a statement and also took a shot at Democratic lawmakers, in general, for refusing to condemn anti-Israel comments made by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN). Omar said Israel’s attempts to defend itself from Hamas were acts “of terrorism.”
“When I was in office we were known as the Peace Presidency, because Israel’s adversaries knew that the United States stood strongly with Israel and there would be swift retribution if Israel was attacked. Under Biden, the world is getting more violent and more unstable because Biden’s weakness and lack of support for Israel is leading to new attacks on our allies,” Trump said in a statement…

At the time of this writing, Joe Biden has refused to issue even a statement about the ongoing attacks against Israel. I wonder if the man even knows what’s going on. But his silence and refusal to act on real problems is becoming a hallmark of this failed administration. He refuses to comment on crises hitting America, why would he bother to talk about those in other countries?
Trump also slammed Democrat Ilhan Omar, who all but serves the agenda of Hamas. She is openly anti-American and anti-Israel and has been caught in the past making anti-Semitic statements. But her party never confronted her over her hate-driven agenda, which has only empowered her all the more.
We can see a direct connection between the Democrats’ decisions and the attacks on Israel. Because Biden is weak and cannot stand up to villains like Hamas (or China or Russia or Iran), these people feel free to do as they like.
How long before our country actually does something? How many innocent people have to die?
