Biden Caves To Pressure, Resumes Trump’s COVID Investigation

What is Biden doing, really? From the outset of his administration, one prevailing rule seems to guide all his decisions: just to the opposite of Trump.

He’s done this on nearly every issue. Most of the time, it takes the form of executive orders that directly end Trump-era policies. Even policies that were good, that worked, that helped the American people, Biden killed. All so he can say he isn’t Trump.

Biden killed the Keystone XL pipeline because Trump supported it. He opened the border because Trump wanted it secure. And most recently, he ended an ongoing investigation into the origins of the China virus, because it was started by Trump and his SoS Mike Pompeo.

Pompeo quickly criticized Biden for such a rash decision.

But it seems someone in his administration told Biden that it was a good idea to at least keep up the appearance of holding China accountable. Because now, all of a sudden, Biden wants to get to the bottom of this issue.

President Joe Biden ordered United States intelligence agencies Wednesday to “redouble their efforts” to investigate the origin of the coronavirus, despite ending a State Department investigation under former President Donald Trump seeking the same goal.

“I have now asked the Intelligence Community to redouble their efforts to collect and analyze information that could bring us closer to a definitive conclusion, and to report back to me in 90 days,” Biden said in a statement released to reporters Wednesday. [Source: Breitbart]

Give me a break. Are we now supposed to believe Biden cares about where the virus came from, when just a day earlier he canned the original investigation?

Even his puppet–I mean, press secretary–recently claimed the United States did not need to investigate this issue. And that the World Health Organization should do it. This is the same group who has continued to do the bidding of China. They previously gave weight to the lab leak theory, to quickly change it after China protested.

The only way we are going to get answers about the origins of the virus is if we do it. We can’t trust China, WHO, or any other foreign agency. But with Biden at the helm, I very much doubt our intelligence agencies will be forthright in revealing to the public the truth.

China Joe has too much of a history chumming around with the communist dictatorship. He would be far more likely to make a big show about investigating Wuhan, then to quickly claim there was no evidence it came from the lab.

But that even belies the point. The virus came from China, period. They covered up the spread for months and tried to prevent the world from knowing. Lab or no, they are responsible for a pandemic that cost millions of lives and ruined the lives of billions.

Shouldn’t they be held accountable regardless?
