Democrats are in a pickle. They may have enough votes in the House to ram through their agenda. But in the 50-50 Senate, they need at least 60 votes to push bills through. So, they keep relying on “reconciliation,” a budget loophole, to get bills passed.
When the Senate reconciles bills to be part of the budget, they only need a majority vote of 51 to get things done. They can completely cut Republicans out of the equation, making our democracy a joke.
Democrats have mulled using this loophole to force through whatever radical policy they can cook up. That includes amnesty for millions of illegals and drastic changes to our elections.
So, 45th President Donald Trump is sounding the alarm. He is calling on Republicans to oppose reconciliation at all costs.
Republicans must take seriously the effort by Democrats to completely change America through the Reconciliation Process. Democrats are now suggesting that budget reconciliation can be used to pass Mail-In Ballot legislation as well as trying to include Amnesty in their infrastructure package. The infrastructure package has little to do with infrastructure as we know it, bridges, roads, tunnels, etc., but is a dramatic expansion of Government that will cost much more than the $3.5 trillion being discussed. Don’t let this happen…
Any effort to dictate national Mail-In Voting will be a disaster for our Country and for conservatism. There will never be a Republican elected to high office again. I urge every Republican to fight this and deny Democrats a quorum if that is what it takes to make sure that the Democrats can’t use reconciliation.

It’s unclear if Senate Democrats can get radical policies like amnesty and election changes done via reconciliation. After all, reconciliation is only used when it comes to the federal budget. In the past, the Senate parliamentarian has had to disappoint Democrats, explaining they can’t get their wish list through with this loophole.
However, that doesn’t mean Democrats won’t try to sneak in radical content into a spending bill and get it passed through this process. Democrats have shown they care very little for the integrity of our government. They’d much rather distort the entire process, to get their way.
President Trump is urging Republicans to oppose their schemes. He echoes McConnell and Graham by suggesting Republicans should “deny Democrats a quorum.” Recently, Texas Democrats prevented the state House from holding a vote by skipping out of town. Sen. Lindsey Graham recommended Republicans in the Senate do the same, so Democrats won’t have enough people to open a session.
It’s an extreme move, but it might be the only way to stop Democrats to “completely changing America.” Republicans can’t count on moderate Democrats to stand up to Schumer and Joe Biden. They need to take matters into their own hands—and fight like their lives depended on it.
Because, in the end, they really do.
