This Is One Failure Biden Will Never Recover From

When Donald Trump was president, there was a growing peace in the Middle East.

That was because Trump was a hard negotiator who wasn’t afraid to play hardball. He hammered Iran with sanctions and strategic strikes. He scored numerous economic deals between Israel and former enemies. And in Afghanistan, he was bringing the Taliban to the table, thanks to his uncompromising force.

There were talks of a deal being made between the Taliban, the U.S., and the Afghan government. Trump was confident that he could remove U.S. troops, because of the deal being formed. Then Joe Biden “won” the 2020 election and all that work went away.

Instead of negotiating from a place of strength, Joe simply pulled out troops. The failing president wanted a win that the media could crow about (like Obama’s withdrawal from Iraq, also a mistake). But, yet again, Joe proves he has no idea what he’s doing.

The situation in Afghanistan continues to rapidly deteriorate as numerous reports now say that the Taliban has taken over two of the nation’s largest cities and has reportedly seized American weapons and military equipment.

“The seizure of Kandahar and Herat marks the biggest prizes yet for the Taliban, who have taken 12 of Afghanistan’s 34 provincial capitals as part of a weeklong blitz…”

Reports indicate the Taliban seized hundreds of U.S. Humvees and other vehicles. Not to mention several U.S. drones and other weapons. They got so much equipment (paid for by the U.S. taxpayer) some are speculating that “every Taliban fighter” can get his own truck.

But that’s only the beginning of the trouble. The Taliban have been killing Afghan soldiers, blowing up checkpoints, and taking over cities. It’s clear they had no intentions of maintaining peace, knowing that weak Joe Biden was going to withdraw troops no matter what.

Gee, if only there were people who were around a few months ago, warning not to do that.

Oh, wait, there was. Numerous security experts and military warned Biden not to withdraw, as well as lawmakers like Sen. Lindsey Graham. He didn’t listen. In fact, he claimed this very scenario was “highly unlikely.” Based on what? His wishes?

Biden was very wrong. Now the world gets to watch a country once free now falls back into the hands of violent terrorists.

Biden is scrambling to figure out what to do. The Pentagon is going to send troops back into Afghanistan, a clear admission of total failure. Meanwhile, Biden begs the Taliban to relent—another clear sign of weakness and incompetence.
