Liberals In Meltdown Mode After TX Stops Their Radical Agenda

In the fight to defend our liberties and way of life, conservative state leaders are leading the charge.

With Democrats turning the federal government into a joke, governors and other state lawmakers have taken center stage. We’ve seen Republican governors push back against Biden’s tyranny again and again. They have overturned his disastrous policies. And in many states, they are passing laws that uphold the Constitution and defend our rights.

Perhaps the one state doing the most to protect conservative values has been Texas. The Lone Star State has hammered the Biden administration with lawsuits challenging his border policy. It has passed strict election integrity, to stop the left’s attempts at fraud. And Gov. Abbott signed into law the biggest pro-life bill even crafted.

Radical pro-abortion activists tried to shut down the law, even as it went into effect on September 1st. But the Supreme Court had some bad news for them.

In a pro-life victory, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled 5-4 on Wednesday not to block the new Texas law banning most abortions after six weeks of pregnancy while legal challenges to that law proceed in lower courts…

Signed in May by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), Senate Bill 8 effectively bans abortions in the Lone Star State the moment a fetal heartbeat is detected, which often occurs after six weeks of pregnancy…

The five-justice majority of Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito, and Trump-appointed Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett did not issue a published opinion with their decision, so the precise reasoning of the Court remains unclear, including whether the Texas law would survive a constitutional challenge on the merits when that question is squarely before the Supreme Court. Other cases against this law are going on in lower courts. But for the Supreme Court to not block this law directly changes the game entirely. Will lower courts defy the SCOTUS, after they allowed the law to stand?

That is what pro-abortion activists fear. They jumped the gun, hoping the Supreme Court would instantly shut this law down. But now that the court has refused to do that, the fate of other court battles remains in question.

The reason abortionists hate this law so much is because many women do not even know they are pregnant before the sixth week. That means, this law would ban most cases of abortion in the state. The law itself is following the most up-to-date medical science. By week six, a fetus’s heartbeat can be detected. That lends greater weight to the argument that abortion ends a human life, thus violating our own Constitution.

Of course, abortions would be happy for you to ignore that reality. Pro-abortion activists want abortions all the way through pregnancy, even post-birth. They are vile and heartless movement, they pretend to defend “women’s rights,” when they only care about the massive amounts of money the federal government provides to abortion clinics.

A larger case looms on the horizon, which could affect abortion in every state. The Supreme Court will rule on that in the coming Fall session.
