With Biden failing all over the place, it seems Democrats are forced with a decision. Do they continue to support a president who’s fading fast or do they try to protect their own butts? Some, like Nancy Pelosi, have decided to go down with the ship. Others, however, are smart enough to distance themselves from Biden’s toxic plans.
We can point to a number of decisions Biden has made that have resulted in failure. All of them, really. But let’s just look at his last spending bill. This “stimulus” bill, which was passed in January, was supposed to be more COVID relief spending. But the bill pumped over $1 trillion into the economy, with no way to pay for it.
It essentially created new money, which immediately lowered the value of our dollar. That led to rapid inflation and a nice little worker shortage. What’s worse, Biden wants to do it again, but this time with a shocking $3.5 trillion.
There was a slim chance this bill would have made it through the Senate without Republican support. But now, more Democrats are turning on it.
Sen. Joe Manchin hit the Sunday talk shows and stated that he cannot support President Biden’s $3.5 trillion spending plan…

Manchin has long criticized Biden’s spending bill. Now, he is vocally speaking out against it. But he’s no longer the only one.
Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) said Sunday he cannot support the $3.5 trillion infrastructure bill in its current form…
“As currently written, this proposal falls short,” Warner said in a statement to Axios. [Source: Breitbart]
Warner claims to be not supporting the bill, because he says he does not provide enough handouts to minorities. But that argument sounds flimsy. Why? Because he helped draft the bill. If he really wanted an additional $600 million for new home buyers, he could have put it in there.
This is much more likely an excuse for the Democrat to pull out of supporting this toxic bill, but also to save face. With Biden flailing all over the place, Americans are getting ticked off. Nothing he’s done has been successful and some fear what new crisis he will create.
Democrats who want to hold onto their jobs have no choice but to oppose Biden. And Biden’s radical spending has never been popular with Americans, so opposing it is an easy way for some Democrats to protect their reputations.
I wouldn’t be surprised to find more Democrats coming out in opposition of this bill soon. Even with a few senators pulling support, the bill has no chance to pass. And with Biden struggling to get anything done, this is a major setback for his toxic administration.
Not that we’re complaining.
