Elon Musk Issues One Major Scientific Correction To Joe Biden’s Speech

During his State of the Union speech this week, President Biden promised to build 500,000 electric charging locations in America.

“We will create good jobs for millions of people, modernizing airports, roads, ports, and waterways all over America. And we will do it all to deal with the devastating impact of the climate crisis,” Biden stated. “We will form a national network of around 500,000 EV charging locations.”

On Twitter, Biden mentioned GM and Ford for their production of electric vehicles.

Tesla founder Elon Musk, who the White House has ignored, took notice and then fact checked Joe Biden about the numbers.

In August, Joe Biden hosted an electric vehicle event at the White House. Elon Musk was deliberately not invited since his workers are not unionized.

“Well, we do welcome the efforts of all companies who recognize the potential of the electric vehicle future and support pushes that will help get to the president’s goal. And certainly, Tesla is among those companies,” White House Media Secretary Jen Psaki said to reporters last year. “Today, it is the three largest companies of the United Auto Workers, and the leader of the group who will stand with Joe Biden as he announces his new goal, but I wouldn’t expect this is the last time we’ll discuss clean cars, the move to EVs, and we move forward with our many partners in that effort.”

Musk replied to the snub at the Code Conference one month later.

“You know, Biden had his EV summit, did not invite Tesla. Invited Ford, GM, Chrysler, and UAW. An EV summit on the White House. Did not mention Tesla even once, and praised Ford and GM for leading the EV revolution. Does this sound a little biased? And it’s not the friendliest of administrations. Seems to be controlled by unions as I can see,” Elon Musk said.

Democrats are known for holding grudges and having hate for anyone remotely conservative or not liberal enough. This is especially true for anyone connected to Donald Trump. While Elon Musk never fully endorsed Donald Trump, the Democrats seem to think he could be a secret Trump supporter.
