Trump’s Latest Favorability Ranting Is Absolutely Crazy

The favorable impression of former President Donald Trump is in far better condition than any national political leader, including the ones who the media protect.

The term “favorability” refers to how well a person is regarded by others. The importance of favorability ratings goes beyond job approval ratings, as it is essentially a “likability” poll. Barack Obama provides an excellent illustration of this notion.

People liked him more than they approved of his performance. It was one of those things that helped his approval ratings to defy gravity on occasion.

The reason why Trump is so fascinating, and I’ll get to the specifics in a bit, is that for the past five years, the liberal media have spent billions to smear him as a racist Russian lackey. It’s not working.

What’s more, Trump can frequently be his own worst enemy when it comes to likability. This is a very bright and charming guy who can also be petulant, juvenile, preoccupied with things that don’t matter, and overly abrasive for what many people perceive as the job of a president or even a former president.

That being said, he’s still wiping the floor with the mainstream media’s chosen candidates. For now, at least.

This is what the RealClearPolitics polling average shows…

Favorable / Unfavorable / Spread
Trump: 45 / 50.6 / -5.6
Biden: 42.5 / 52.8 / -10.3
Harris: 36.5 / 56 / -15.5
McConnell: 24.3 / 57.8 / -33.5
McCarthy: 23.7 / 40.3 / -16.6
Pelosi: 34.4 / 56.6 / -22.2
Schumer: 29 / 46.0 / -17.7

Keep in mind that these are just averages. This isn’t some aberrant poll. Trump’s current favorable rating is the highest, with a +5.6 percent deficit, and he is only -5.6 points underwater overall. Joe Biden comes next, almost doubling that number with -10.3 points underwater.

Democrats know that they are toast in the midterms, and you better believe their anxiety is rising for what could happen in 2024. With Trump’s approval rating so high and Biden’s decreasing by the day, it’s looking like MAGA could be back.
