Biden Tax Secret Spills Out–Paid Less Last Year While Earning More

Don’t let it ever be said that the rich don’t know how to hold onto their money. Millions of Americans are struggling, right now, thanks to Joe Biden’s toxic economy and tax increases. They will be forced to pay a large portion of money to the IRS, even as inflation destroys their wealth and income.

But the liberal elite of the country always find a way to come out on top. While Joe was out of office, he made a cool $16.5 million. The year before Joe ran for president, he made $1.6 million from “teaching and book sales.” In 2021, Biden took home, not only his presidential salary (Trump donated his every year), but also income from his wife’s job and two private corporations.

Yet, although they earned more last year, they paid fewer taxes.

President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill paid less federal taxes in 2021 than in 2020, despite the couple earning more income in 2021.

In 2021, Joe and Jill Biden reported $610,702 in earned income and paid 24.6 percent in federal taxes. In the year prior, they reported $607,336 in earnings. Despite the nearly $4,000 increase in income, the Biden family paid almost $7,000 less in federal income tax for 2021.

The Bidens paid a $157,414 tax bill in 2020, compared to $150,439 in federal taxes for 2021. The couple also paid $30,765 in Delaware state taxes, and Jill Biden paid $2,721 in Virginia state taxes, according to the couple’s joint tax return. [Source: Breitbart]

Biden has talked endlessly about forcing the rich to pay their “fair share.” Yet he and his wife enjoy the very tax breaks and skewed tax brackets for the rich they claim are wrong. Even though they earned more last their than the year before, they paid $7,000 less in federal tax.

You can point to all the reasons for this, but doesn’t it look hypocritical? Biden obviously has accountants that can find him all the deductions and loopholes necessary to reduce his and his wife’s tax bill. But if he really believed in all that thing he says, why wouldn’t he pay the very most he could to the government?

Does he think the rich should pay more, so that the government can waste it on social programs? Or does he think “rich” only means billionaires? To the average American, who can barely afford gas, Biden and his wife are sitting pretty. Not only did they earn over $600,000 last year, but they are also sitting on millions from previous years. Yet they are more than happy to avoid paying higher taxes—despite their rhetoric.

Personally, we don’t think anyone should pay more taxes than they need to. Taxes are already far too high (I’m sure you agree). We don’t begrudge a crook—I mean man—like Joe for finding ways to reduce his tax burden. But, if that’s the case, why doesn’t his policy reflect that? Why does he raise taxes on working and middle-class Americans and promise to raise them even more, if he doesn’t even want to pay taxes?

Seems like we got the wrong people in office?
