According to The State, “Columbia Police Chief said 22yo Jewayne M. Price, who was one of three individuals initially captured by police as a person of interest in the shooting, has been held in police custody since his arrest.”

At least three people were believed to have brandished weapons at Columbiana Centre, where the shooting occurred. The ages of the victims ranged from 15 to 73 years old. “We don’t think this was a random act,” added Holbrook. “We believe they knew one another and something caused the gunfire.”

Jewayne Price’s name and hometown are listed on his still-active Facebook profile. He seems to be giving the camera the finger in his profile photo. I’m guessing he’ll deactivate his account before long, because he’ll most likely put on his ankle bracelet and rush home, then immediately erase all of his social media posts.

Meanwhile, less than 24hrs later, another mass shooting took place in South Carolina. According to reports, nine people were injured but no fatalities have been reported. In a rural location approximately 50 miles northwest of Savannah, someone opened fire at a restaurant.

What’s going on here? It has to be ghost guns, according to President Biden. For Chuck Schumer, it’s just another chance to push gun control.
