Obama Team Member Charged With Major International Crimes

According to court documents filed in March, former U.S. ambassador to Pakistan during the Obama administration Richard Olson was charged with criminal offenses relating to lobbying for the Qatari regime and failing to inform the U.S. government of his activities.

He is accused of illegally lobbying on behalf of the Qatari government while serving as Ambassador to Pakistan from Oct. 2012 to Nov. 2015 and as Special Representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan from Nov. 2015 to Nov. 2016. According to court filings, Olson violated federal law by working to further the country’s interests under a year after he left his ambassador post and failing to report that a foreign lobbyist paid 1000’s of dollars on his travel expenses.

According to the papers, a Pakistani-American lobbyist paid monthly $20,000 checks to Olson beginning in Dec. 2016 after Olson had numerous meetings with him during his term as a US ambassador and special representative. According to reports, this was first discovered by Axios.

Olson was accused of breaking the “revolving door” ban on former government employees lobbying for one year after leaving their jobs, and of knowingly providing false records to the Office of Gov. Ethics by omitting that his travel expenses were paid by a lobbyist.

The papers also claim that the lobbyist paid $18,000 on first-class international flights and a $4,498 luxury hotel stay as well as an expensive dinner for Olson’s Jan. 2015 journey. A company executive who had supper with Olson and the lobbyist on the trip offered him a $300,000 yearly salary for employment once his service to the United States was over.

According to court documents, Olson intends to accept responsibility.

This goes to show that Democrats, despite saying that Republicans are the ones who are corrupt, are themselves the more corrupt party. With Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Michelle and Barrack Obama all being known to have connections to shady globalist groups and backroom deal makers. But of course most recently Hunter Biden has taken the limelight as the worst example of corrupt deal making.
