After Biden Blames Trump and Companies for Inflation, Rep Scalise Fires Back

It’s hard to ignore the fact that the U.S. economy is ailing. If you haven’t seen that from the insane rise in gas prices and food, you’ll see it in the latest inflation numbers. Inflation was at 8.3% in April, one of the highest rates on record.

Joe Biden has no plan to battle this inflation. In fact, all he’s done in recent weeks is blame other people for it. He claimed he inherited an economy on the verge of a “great depression.” That’s something fact-checkers have debunked as a blatant lie.

More recently, Biden claimed that he needs to tax big companies to battle inflation. Now, Republican Rep. Steve Scalise is putting the blame where it truly lies.

The Biden administration’s economic policies are driving the U.S. economy closer to a recession, warns House Minority Whip Steve Scalise…

“I’m very concerned about the weakness of the economy right now and the potential for a recession,” said the Louisiana Republican, “because Joe Biden has continued to promote policies that, number one, spend money at rapid paces, but also that undermine the ability to make things in America by having an anti-American energy policy.

“It not only hurts families when they’re filling up the gas tank or when they’re paying their electric bill, but it hurts our ability to manufacture in America. You know, on every crisis we’ve seen Joe Biden has been on the wrong side and won’t do the things that are necessary to protect jobs in America, to protect the economy in America and protect hardworking families in America. And they’re going to pay a heavy price in November.” [Source: Just the News]

Fearing a possible recession, Rep. Scalise blames the current economic crisis on Joe Biden. He said Joe Biden’s rapid spending and anti-American energy policies are what’s really hurting the economy. Scalise also pointed out that Biden has “been on the wrong side” of every crisis we’ve faced over the last year.

Funny how that is, isn’t it? Not once has Biden done what’s best for America, in any of these problems. He opened the border and continues to let illegal aliens in (despite dangers from drug cartels and COVID). He ignored experts and withdrew from Afghanistan, letting the Taliban take over. He threatened 100 million Americans and their jobs, forcing them to get vaccinated.

He pushed “green” policies that shut down American energy. Then he imposed sanctions that caused energy prices to skyrocket. He’s ignored a supply chain rises that continues to hurt our country. And let’s not forget how he gave out checks to keep people out of work, even as the country was reopening.

Hmm… if Biden was trying to destroy America, it wouldn’t look much different than this. Now, Biden is showing his real hand—claiming that inflation would decrease if he taxed corporations more.

Was that his plan all along? Let the economy crumble so people would support his radical taxation and socialist plans?

If it is, he’s failed miserably. Because the only person people are blaming for this mess is Joe.
