The Biden administration does not have many successes to champion. In fact, it has no successes. The only major legislation he passed was the “American Rescue Plan,” which triggered historically-bad inflation. And in nearly every poll since August 2021, his approval has been close to 30%.
But a new poll from CBS actually had his approval around 44%. That’s higher, sure, but his disapproval was still 56%. That didn’t stop his pathetic chief of staff from taking a victory lap. However, the poll still had much more bad news for old Joe.
On Sunday, Axios tweeted about a recent CBS poll that shows most Americans believe that the economy is bad, Biden is “slow to react,” and the state of the country is “uneasy” and “worrying.” […]
CBS asked respondents to state whether or not certain words would “describe” or “not describe” Biden’s “actions as President so far.” While 53% of Americans said that the term “divisive” does not describe the president’s actions, 62% of Americans also said that the word “unifying” would not be an accurate description either.
Likewise, 62% of Americans said the word “effective” does not apply, while 57% of Americans said the word “distracted” describes Biden’s actions. [Source: Daily Wire]
Like most MSM polls, this one clearly oversampled Democrats to get that 44% approval. But it’s still underwater and the rest of the poll is a nightmare for Biden. A shocking 62% of Americans said Biden is not unifying.
Another 62% of them said the word “effective” does not apply to Joe Biden’s presidency. Fifty-seven percent of those asked said that “distracted” better described Joe’s actions.
It gets worse. Most respondents don’t believe Biden even cares about the problems facing them. Fifty-six percent said Biden does not care about their problems “at all.” That would be accurate, considering the state of inflation, gas prices, and the nation’s supply of baby formula.
These are devastating numbers for a president facing a tough midterm season. Joe Biden’s failures have already ensured big losses for Democrats in November. But as time goes on, Biden finds new ways to give America the middle finger. He pushes extreme policies like banning “assault weapons.”
Meanwhile, he neglected signs of a baby formula shortage for months. The country is scrambling to solve this problem as Biden shrugs his shoulders.
Democrats have done nothing to turn around their fortunes. In fact, they have only made things worse, denying reality and focusing on media manipulation of the narrative.
But with numbers like this, Biden is lucky he’s not up for re-election this year.
