Democrats are pulling out all the stops to push radical new gun control laws. Using the recent Uvalde shooting as an excuse, the left refuses to embrace any other measures to protect our schools. Instead, they are pushing emotions to clamp down on Americans’ Second Amendment rights.
But the facts don’t lie. More gun control laws will not stop gun violence. All we have to do is look at states with severe gun control for the proof. In fact, California has the toughest gun control laws in the entire country.
And guess which state had the most “active shooter incidents” last year?
An FBI report on ‘Active Shooter Incidents’ in 2021 shows that California was the number one state for such incidents, with six incidents total.
California is also number one for gun law strength, the Mike Bloomberg-affiliated Everytown for Gun Safety noted.
According to the FBI, there were 61 “active shooter incidents” across the country in 2021 and 12 of the incidents met the definition of a “mass killing.”

You read that right. California has some of the most ridiculous limits on the Second Amendment. Among its restrictions, there is an “assault weapons” ban, a “high capacity” magazine ban, universal background checks, a 10-day waiting period, a red flag law (which allows police to take away guns without a warrant or trial), bans on guns on college campuses, and strict limits on where you can even buy ammunition.
If you were a drooling idiot, you’d think all these limits would prevent criminals from inflicting harm. Yet in 2021, there were six “active shooter incidents” in the state, the most in the country.
Gee, I thought all these laws were supposed to stop shootings? Perhaps they only cause shootings, since criminals know there are so few law-abiding citizens able to defend themselves?
It’s hard for anyone to believe these laws are for any other purpose than depriving Americans of their rights. Democrats feel they have the right to decide whether or not you can own a gun—despite what the Second Amendment says.
They’d rather have you weak and defenseless, at the mercy of violent killers, than let you make decisions for yourself.
But, hey, that’s the left’s entire political platform from start to finish. Take away freedom. Destroy personal responsibility. Eliminate private wealth.
