The anti-ICE attacks in Minneapolis are clearly not a grassroots protest. These aren’t protests at all, which means they are not First Amendment-protected activities. It’s also clear that the rioters are somehow being paid. Don’t they have jobs they need to get back to? How can they follow and harass ICE agents for weeks on end, unless someone is footing the bill? If you want to know where some of the money for this color revolution is coming from, we now have a partial answer. The cash to overthrow the US government is coming from one of our worst national enemies.
It’s Canada!
Independent journalist Cam Higby managed to sneak his way into an encrypted Signal chat group that the protesters are using. He downloaded a ton of information and released it all publicly. The files revealed that the ICE attackers are split into multiple teams to identify, track and harass ICE and Border Patrol agents around Minneapolis. They have the help of state and local police and Minnesota state employees.
The “protesters” are far more organized and sophisticated than anyone suspected. Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan has been identified as an admin for the Signal chat group, so this goes to the highest levels of state government. The scandal has been dubbed “SIGNALGATE” on X (formerly Twitter).
Among the documents that Higby managed to swipe is a resource file that directs people to the website of a group called Stand with Minnesota. That’s a website that is described as “a community-focused resource hub and mutual aid initiative.” So, it’s sort of like GoFundMe, but the money raised is all going to support and pay the ICE attackers.
However, the Stand with Minnesota website directs people to donate money to a campaign being run on Chuffed by a group called “Tending the Soil.” I know. This whole thing is starting sound like a tangled web that’s as complicated as a network of Somali home-based healthcare providers!
Chuffed is a platform that’s owned and operated by a Canadian community organizer named Jonny Soppotiuk. Not only did he set up the “Tending the Soil” campaign, but he was also the first donor to put seed money into the project.
X user @DataRepublican worked her digital magic on the donor list for Tending the Soil. She’s uncovered the names of over 4,000 people who have donated cash to pay the salaries of the anti-ICE rioters. She posted the names and employment of all of them online on Monday.
I scanned the file and noticed at least one US State Department employee, immigration attorneys, and Minnesota state employees, ranging from librarians to workers at the state Department of Education.
Here’s why this is so important to the Trump administration.
What’s happening in Minnesota is not a peaceful protest against ICE. It’s an organized paramilitary action that has resulted in the deaths of two people now—the SUV Karen and the Blam-tifa male nurse who looked like he was dying of AIDS that got shot by ICE over the weekend.
The rioters got so out of control on Monday that federal agents had to throw a flashbang grenade to disperse them. One woman protester stupidly picked up the flashbang to throw it back and blew her fingers off.

That’s not the point, though. The point is that these are not lawful, constitutional actions. They’re not peacefully petitioning the government for a redress of grievances. They’re donating money to foot soldiers to violate the law by impeding federal immigration enforcement.
Thousands of people, including our mortal enemies in Canada, are donating money, time, and resources in a criminal enterprise that involved the deaths of two people. That means everyone on the Signal chat and every person who donated cash to the Canadian communist front group (Chuffed) could be hit with grand conspiracy charges, including second-degree murder for the deaths.
Unfortunately, Kash Patel is on the job!
He announced on Tuesday that he’s sending FBI agents to Minnesota to look into SIGNALGATE. Really? It’s been all these months since Patel promised to go after the groups that assassinated Charlie Kirk. Those are the same groups that are protesting ICE right now. But we had to find out about the financing, the donors, the logistics, and the foot soldiers from Cam Higby and @DataRepublican.
Like all H-1B hires, Kash Patel talks a big game, but he’s not exactly a go-getter when he shows up at the office.
These anti-ICE attackers and their foreign and domestic financiers all deserve to be treated the same way as the January 6ers, who attended a four-hour protest. That’s all we’re asking for.
