Anti-Trump Comedian Backs Up the President's Actions in Venezuela

President Donald J. Trump has once again shown the world what strong, decisive leadership looks like. In a daring and successful mission, U.S. special forces captured former Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro right in his own bedroom and flew him to Brooklyn to face justice. This bold action wasn’t just about removing a tyrant—it was a message to every corrupt regime on Earth: America is back, and we will not turn a blind eye to evil.

Maduro was no harmless figure. For years, he ruled Venezuela with an iron fist. He crushed free speech, jailed his political enemies, and let innocent people starve while he lived like a king. He turned one of the richest countries in South America into a land of hunger and despair. He silenced his people, rigged elections, and used the military to keep himself in power. Under his watch, thousands died, and millions fled the country. He was not a leader—he was a thug in a suit.

Even Jon Stewart, a liberal comedian who rarely praises President Trump, admitted the truth. On his show, Stewart called Maduro a “feared and cruel dictator” and even joked about how strange it was to see such a monster singing “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.” And while Stewart kept his usual sarcastic tone, he could not deny the truth: Maduro was a terror to his people, and President Trump ended that terror.

What happened in Venezuela is what happens when socialism takes control. The government grows too big, the people grow too poor, and freedom disappears. Maduro was the face of that failure, and now he’s facing American justice. This is a proud moment not just for our military, but for every American who believes in liberty and the rule of law.

Of course, the usual suspects in Washington are angry. Democrats in Congress—like Chuck Schumer and Tim Kaine—are crying foul, calling the operation “illegal” and trying to stop further action using the War Powers Act. Even Senator Rand Paul is siding with them on this. But let’s be clear: this was not a war. This was justice. This was protecting the world from a dangerous criminal. And President Trump, as Commander-in-Chief, acted within his constitutional authority to keep America safe and bring a tyrant to justice.

Too many politicians in Washington have gotten used to weakness. For years, they let dictators walk all over us. They gave deals to Iran, bowed to China, and stood by while Maduro crushed his people. That ended when President Trump came back to office. He’s not afraid to act. He’s not afraid to lead. And he’s not afraid to stand up for what’s right.

This mission reminds us what real leadership looks like. It reminds us that America is a force for good in the world. And it reminds us that when the Constitution is respected and the government sticks to its proper role—protecting our rights and defending our country—the results are powerful.

We the People must stand with President Trump and his administration. We must reject the cries of weak-kneed politicians who would rather protect tyrants than stand for justice. And we must defend the principles that made this country great: individual liberty, limited government, and the courage to fight evil wherever it hides.

Maduro is now behind bars where he belongs. The Venezuelan people have a chance to breathe free again. And the world sees that America, under President Trump, is not to be trifled with.

This is not just a victory for the United States. This is a victory for freedom-loving people everywhere. Let’s continue to stand for truth, for justice, and for the enduring strength of our Constitutional Republic.
