Trump's Economic Triumph: Media Won't Admit Success

In today’s America, we celebrate a renewed sense of optimism as we witness positive changes in our economy. It’s a testament to the power of free markets and the resilience of the American worker. Yet, you wouldn’t know it from the way the media portrays it. They seem determined to cast a shadow over the bright progress we’ve made under President Trump’s leadership.

Let’s break it down. The numbers don’t lie. Since President Trump returned to the Oval Office, inflation, which was a staggering 5% under Biden, has fallen significantly. Now, it’s running at a manageable 2.4%. This is a remarkable turnaround, achieved through decisive actions to rein in runaway spending and empower the private sector. Under Biden, Americans saw their real weekly earnings drop by 4%, while home prices soared, putting an unbearable strain on families. But now, wages are climbing, and the dream of homeownership is becoming more attainable once again.

Under President Trump’s guidance, there’s been a shift from government dependency to private sector vitality. This isn’t just about numbers; it’s about real people finding better jobs with better pay and benefits. We’re seeing a movement from part-time work to full-time employment, a clear sign of a healthy economy. In December alone, full-time employment surged by 890,000 jobs. That’s 890,000 families breathing a little easier, planning for their futures with confidence.

Our manufacturing sector is roaring back to life, with productivity and output rising sharply after years of decline. The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta has even raised its forecast for GDP growth to an impressive 5.3%. This is the American economy at its best—dynamic, innovative, and robust.

Yet, despite these positive indicators, some folks are still concerned about the economy. Part of this stems from the lingering effects of the Biden presidency—years of economic mismanagement can’t be undone overnight. But we are on the right path, and with continued focus on market-friendly reforms, the situation will only improve.

The mainstream media, however, is not on our side. They’re spinning these positive developments into tales of doom and gloom. They refuse to acknowledge the strides we’ve made, preferring instead to focus on challenges that are rapidly being addressed. When inflation was at a painful 6% in early 2023, media outlets like CNN painted it as good news because it was down from a previous 6.4%. But now, with inflation in check, they still find ways to cast doubt.

Why? Because acknowledging our success undermines their narrative. It proves the value of conservative principles—smaller government, fiscal responsibility, and trust in the free market. It highlights the failures of the previous administration and vindicates the choices of American voters who trusted President Trump to lead us back to prosperity.

For Republicans, the task is clear. We must push for bold reforms that reduce the size of the welfare state and cut unnecessary regulations. These steps will unleash even more economic growth and ensure that our progress is not easily undone by future administrations. It’s not enough to just slow down spending; we must actively shrink it. This is how we secure a prosperous future for all Americans.

For Democrats, the strategy might seem simple: capitalize on any remaining dissatisfaction to regain power. But they must reckon with the reality that their policies led us into economic strife in the first place. As Republicans focus on real solutions, Democrats would be wise to reconsider their approach or risk being left behind by a nation that is moving forward.

As we look ahead to the midterm elections, it’s crucial to remember these achievements and the principles that made them possible. We must remain vigilant, informed, and active in defending our republic. Together, we can ensure that America’s best days are ahead, rooted firmly in the values that have always made us great.
